We had a rough trip with huge train delays and ended up arriving at Hotel Caroline around 2 AM, exhausted and worried our ... would be canceled. But the guy at reception was so kind and didn’t say a word about the late arrival-he checked us in quickly and even made us a free dinner at that hour, which meant a lot. The room was clean and cozy, and this stay really felt like a genuinely caring place.
